Jewelry is something we wear, gift, love. It reminds us of people and places, times and memories. I’m drawn to jewelry for the stories it holds, and for the way it makes us feel through its intangible values. This is why I have so much fun with custom orders.

What do you want to see in silver? I’d love to hear about it! I’d love to make it! A touch of whimsy is always present over my little work desk.

I work in silver clay. The clay contains an organic binder that is removed in the kilning process, leaving behind pieces that are 99.9% pure silver. These are named fine silver. Each Blue Dot is designed and handmade in silver clay, kiln-fired at maximum  temperatures and tumbled for high luster.

P.S. This blog sometimes ventures into adventures away from my work desk, because I feel that my world is part of my work. I’m inspired by my small (and occasionally big) travels, and the style, daring and experimentation of my current home, New York City, with special love for dear Brooklyn. I do not live or work in a vacuum… thank goodness!
